"When shooting two-trigger guns, the proper way, they say, is to fire the rear trigger first, then the recoil drives the gun back through your hand until the trigger finger is positioned just right for the right barrel and the front trigger."
This advice is rarely followed because most people, without thinking, intuitively pull the front trigger first which is why most doubles have a open choke right barrel and a tight choke left barrel. But for lefties and people who followed Keith's advice is why you may come across doubles that are choked open left and tight right as might be preferred by a lefty.
