Re: Happy Birthday to Tom Archer
I don't know if I need to thank Jim or Cheryl for letting the "cat out of the bag", but given that I've now reached the age whereby young folks consider me older than dirt, I try to take birthdays in stride and just be thankful that God has blessed me with another year. To all who have posted birthday wishes please let me say that I'm grateful for the kind words; but, at the same time humbled to know that I've positively impacted some of the people I've met along life's journey. The greatest aspect of the LCSCA and my personal association with this organization are our members, as one will meet the finest and most intelligent individuals in the entire world thru the LCSCA!. My association with the LCSCA has afforded the opportunity to meet people I'd have never met otherwise, and the resulting friendships have been and remain incredible. So thanks to all of you again; it has indeed been a wonderful birthday, and I sincerely hope we can all share many more birthdays together. PS: As a head's up, Dr. Jim has a birthday coming up just before Christmas, and there's no individual who's contributed more to the knowledge we currently enjoy regarding the LC Smith shotgun that has he; so a happy birthday to Dr. Jim also!
