Made with 100% wool thread on a wool/cotton blend felt background. Embroidered on single head, hand oriented, 65 year old machines in a tiny factory it took me two years (and many failed attempts) to find. This is the club jacket patch your Grandfather or even Great Grandfather would have worn.
The price will be $65 each (shipped). Please include a return mailing address label if possible. The fee is payable by check or money order to:

Again, this is only the prototype. I've already been in contact with my folks about some minor changes. The bird will have the wing filled in under the dogs mouth, a bit more neck will be added to the dog as well, and the embroidered border ring will be black rather than the matching blue. I think these minor changes will make it something to really be proud of. I've crudely illustrated these changes with bits of paper in the photos. Look closely at the images, the quality of the detail is fantastic.
I'm going to take money for a month from today. On October 26th I will cash all the payments and make the formal order. I will post a list once a week of paid recipients. Once I make the order it will be about six weeks till I have the patches. It's not a fast process, each color is added by hand one at a time, so production time is slow.
The Parker boys liked the one I did for them. We're on our second order, we'll be around 75 patches produced when that shakes out. I need a 15 piece order to get this $65 price, hopefully our L.C. Smith brethren can step up to the plate and match the Parker boys!
