Question - I had understood that “transition” hammer guns were those built with both Syracuse (type #1) and early Fulton (type #2) parts. This this gun appears to have both Syracuse (type #1 - rotary check bolt) and later Fulton (type #3 C hammers/flat bottom action) parts? Looks like this is a later “transition” hammer gun that skipped using the Type #2 parts.
