Re: 3e recoil pad
Zachary,I get mine from Brownell's.You can find them online. The pad that I like the best is a Pachmayr Decelerator model 752B small size.It comes in .600,.800,and 1.00" thick and black or brown. There are many things I like about this pad.It will stay put when moving or shooting doubles. It does not stick to your cloths like some of the others,so you may move or slide it on your shoulder if need be.I like to drill the existing holes in the stock with a .250" drill.I then plug the holes with a .250" oak dowel from Lowe's and glue it in place.I drill the new holes with a drill a little bigger than what it calls for on the directions.I put some oil furniture polish with beeswax in it on the screw threads to help the screws go in easier.I use a fixture to grind the pad to get the angles correct. After I install the pad I rub the same polish in the sides of the pad. When you get done,it should look like a factory job.Good luck,I think you will like working with that particular pad.Charlie 410-756-2095
