It has led a long and happy life in the field and has a few minor issues that can be fixed by sourcing parts. The barrels are clean and shiny on the inside. A full disassembly and cleaning along with replacing a few broken parts will get it back to good working condition.
The stock that was on the shotgun when I got it in my shop was a home made stock. It can best be described as a wood blank being given to a dog and then the dog being told to "chew on this until it looks like that". It was crudely made to say the least and its poor fitment is also causing issues with the receiver function.
I need to source a replacement stock for this gun. I only need the stock as the forend is still original and in good condition, but I would like to find an original if possible.
I do not care if the stock I source needs to be refinished as long as it is otherwise not split or damaged. I am hoping someone here on this forum may have one that they would like to sell to me for this job.
I can be reached via email at my shop and my email address is mgreen@threatsolutionsllc.com
Thank you.
