In regards to L. C. Smith marked gun cases, they seem to be uncommon. I've seen two Leg-o-Mutton leather cases marked with the gun name and both were marked as per the photo below with the words L.C. Smith gold embossed. Unlike Parker and Lefever, I haven't seen early catalogs advertising a variety of case types (others may have and can reply if they wish); but cases were a item the gunworks didn't stock and would be supplied on customer request. I suspect that most of those cases were not marked L.C. Smith unless customer requested, but can't say for sure?
