John, I doubt that you are missing anything. I've found examples of those who consider themselves the "biggest" or the "best" either misrepresenting the item that they have for sale, not knowing what they are talking about or simply don't care. Two recent examples is one seller not knowing that there was never an LC Smith made in 28 ga. to another advertising a Lefever Nitro as the forerunner to the LC Smith. Some sellers [ayction houses and private sellers] can't even take out a chamber gauge or even a spent shell to figure out what gauge gun they are selling. Anything for a sale without consideration for the buyer becomes very frustrating. Sorry for the vent. Tom
