It's about an hour from Florence, about 45 minutes from Georgetown, 30 minutes from Lake City. Easy to find, easy to get to. Florence probably has more hotels/motels. All have the chains, Florence has a couple of very nice hotels, all have B&B's. Hemingway is probably the closest town, but I don't know whether it has a motel; probably has a B&B. You could always call Rick Hemingway at Backwoods and ask him for a personal recommendation.
