Hogan also signed orders prohibiting gatherings and events of more than 250 people and closing the cruise ship terminal at the Port of Baltimore.
Additionally, the governor said that the day-to-day operation of state government would be delegated to Lt. Gov. Boyd Rutherford (R) so that Hogan can focus on the fight against the virus full-time.
Also at the press conference, Maryland's Superintendent of Schools Karen Salmon said that all public schools in the state would be closed for two weeks beginning on Monday...... re-posted by Jent Mitchell.
I am very very sure that this means that the Baltimore Antique Arms Show is cancelled too. This major gun show is the reason we hold our LCSCA SXS Shoot at Carlise on the Monday following this gun show. Usually many of our LCSCA members would have traveled a significant distance to attend this great gun show and those members would stay over an extra day to attend this LCSCA SXS Shoot at Carlisle. Well if there is no Baltimore Gun Show then there will not be LCSCA members traveling to Baltimore so they will not be at Carlisle either. So in effect our LCSCA SXS Shoot at Carlisle has been cancelled by Maryland Gov Hogan and the Wuhan Virus from Red China.
This is probably a good idea.
Good Health To You All, Jent Mitchell
