The best way to learn the specifics on your gun is to order a research letter. With that letter you can verify that the existing barrel length is correct (correct length is critical to value), when it was completed, who it was shipped to, the number of 16 gauge Ideal's made with the same specifications (some variations are very scarce), whether it was shipped with other factory options besides auto ejectors; and so forth. Having that letter will increase the value of your gun as well as your appreciation in owning the piece.
