My choice of words is the cause of your concern. After saying that it was shipped to Rochester Ordnance along with the date and order number (which makes it an authentic military shotgun), I said that "It should have a flaming bomb and crossed cannons ordnance stamps along with the initials RLB on the barrel flats. Col. Roy L. Bolin was Chief of the Rochester Ordnance District. These shotguns were used to train aerial gunners how to lead targets."
A better choice of words may have been ". . . will have a flaming bomb and most have a crossed cannon and the initials RBL . . ." I will revise you letter so that you do not need to be concerned about the possibility of others questioning the authenticity of your shotgun.
