I have a 20 gauge, Ideal Grade, single trigger, auto ejectors, sn FWS 37955. A previous owner replaced the original fore end with a non-factory, non-standard fore end that I guess he had custom made. In any case, I can tell from my experience with a 12 gauge Ideal Grade that this fore end is just not right. Can any one tell me if the original was splinter or beaver tail and where I can get one. The fore end on my 12 gauge was beaver tail with a Schnabel treatment at the front end.
