This shows that the metal surfaces have all been polished, a crack at the apex of the lockplate inlet, a likely long crack along the top tang, and the tang is very proud of the wood.
This shows sanding/re-shaping along the top of the grip and the bottom tang is also proud of the wood
It appears likely that the gun has been refinished and checkering sanded when the stock was repaired. It would be worth having a wood specialist check out the repairs before use.
