It's a 20 Gauge field grade Elsie serial #FW124122 with double triggers and extractors. I would describe it in good to very good condition. I've taken it out a few times and it functioned well with RST shells.
My question: I just sent it out to Jerry Andrews because the 3 position safety was not working properly and to get a price for a restoration. Do you think this gun warrants a complete restoration or should I just leave it as is?
I had a 12 gauge Specialty grade done over by someone everyone probably know here in PA and he did a great job but has now decided he "hates" working on these guns which is ok with me since I was going to send it Mr. Andrews anyway since I heard such good things about him on this board. I await some responses
