Bending could be an option and worth a mention, however, I'm a little dubious if it will be enough. The lass in question is pretty tall, has a fair amount of neck, pretty long arms, smallish hands and generally is going to be an interesting fitting subject. I just can't see how the standard stock can bend to put the butt correctly and yet give her a decent cheek. Then again, I'm definitely pretty much 'peanut gallery' on this one.
Dave, good to have another 'up in the corner'. This little thread has generated more contacts than I've found doing web searches off and on for the last couple of years.
I did get in touch with http://www.thestockdr.com/index.php and in a very quick email volley had even more options for Jen to check out. One of which is up in Sequim... which gives her an excuse to visit family up there.
Not sure if it's decent news or not, it might prove out easier to fit or restock, but she kinda has a thing going for a Sterlingworth. I think I cried inside, however, the box might be an easier project than the Elsie.
So there is some hope with the overall project.
