: So this guy moved into the building
: today, and I started talking to him a
: bit. I saw he had a bunch of WW2 stuff,
: and I started talking about my
: grandfather in WW2. Seems he was happy
: to have someone take a interest and he
: started telling me storys.
:
: He talked about how his brother died in
: WW2 and how after the battel of the
: bulge. His unit came across a museum.
: The Germans destroyed all the paintings
: and artwork inside. He did however
: stubble across a man inside the Museum
: crying. After chating with the guy a
: bit the crying man asked him if he had
: any pictures. He showed the man a small
: photo of his wife, and the man asked if
: he could keep it. Then he asked for his
: address back in the states and told him
: he would send him something nice after
: the war. Turns out the crying man was
: some famous painter, and he sent him a
: painting of his wife he got from the
: photo. It also turns out the guy I was
: talking to was a famous poet named
: Joseph Langland. I don't know I just
: found it funny two famous artist like
: that just crossed paths by
: happenstance.
:
: He then went on to tell me alot of
: other cool storys too. Seems after the
: war he went around the world giving
: lectures. He then somehow end up in
: Oslo Norway with a team of raindeer
: mushers. Yes thats right raindeer
: mushers, and while they were out
: pushing the raindeer. He got hurt or
: sick or something. Then they just left
: him for dead in the snow lol. It was
: kinda hard to understand the whole
: story. The guy was like 90 years old
: and I could not hear him very well.
: Still some old people rock!
:
: This guy went all around the world and
: almost died about 3 times. What do we
: hang are hat on at the end of the day?
: HIGH SCORE IN FROGGER BABY!!!
