I miss leveling up in WoW, in a group of people that you just meet, going to search for quests and to try and find stuff Those 1-59 were the best mmorpg days ever. But it feels that way for me in almost all mmorpgs. Everquest, DaoC, it's only fun until you reach the top. With DaoC being the notable exeption, but that's because the PvP was so amazing and never had to go do PvE at max level. It's sad there are no decent mmorpgs on the horizon, and I don't know if I could handle new ones anyways. Half the fun of WoW and DaoC was being the first to the top, but now with a job, I'm just one of the many geezers who can only commit like 5 hours a day. Suxxors. That's why I've resorted to single player console games This is one of the few times I can think of in mmorpg history where there is nothing on the horizon to look forward to. No EQ2, WoW, Anarchy Online, they were always upcoming while I was playing DaoC and Everquest. Diddly squat upcoming now that looks decent. Kind of sad really.
