Some are already in the brick and mortal Mattel store and one? Debuts in 15 days.

First up is the Whitney Houston doll from her "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" video. Not the outfit I want (I'm still hoping that someday we'll get the Queen of the Night from The Bodyguard - dream on, I know) but overall I like the doll and she'll come home with me.









Saw the holiday sweater dolls in person and they're cute but not really my thing. Extra points because they light up, though.








I saw the Silkstone Francie repro in person and she's cute. I hope the real thing looks just as good. Designed by Carlyle who is taking over the repro line. She launches at the end of this month at a price point of $60.





New Wednesday dolls in the MH series. These weren't on display but the pics are real and is likely a late summer or early fall release.






This is one no one is quite sure about. There is a new Legally Blonde doll coming. Is this her? Is it an OOAK as a doll artist claims? Who knows at this point? Though given what some of the Styled By dolls at the $50 price point look like? She could be the real deal, particularly with the plastic jewelry.






Finally, no photos but I did get to see the Dia de Muertos prototype Barbie and Ken in person. They are absolutely amazing and I'm hoping the production dolls are close to the ones I saw. They are a nice twist on a line that I honestly thought had been done to death. Barbie has the new La Llorona hands from last year and they look good on this doll. Ken has far more detail than in the past and while in the past I waited to buy him, I won't do that this year. They really do look like a fabulous pair!
