Just a quick, FYI, new releases are hitting the stores now and in the near future.
There is a new "chase" doll available at Target. The Deluxe Style Christie is appearing two per store and she does seem to be a bit easier to find than Midge.
Target (and the occasional Barnes & Noble) also seems to be the home of the "new" Allan doll. Previously only found in Australia, he was selling at the convention in Louisville for $80 and up. Below his photo is a link to him on the Target website. Under certain conditions, he's available for free shipping.

She's a Flapper style doll that was previewed in Louisville. Probably one of my favorites from what we were shown (other than the designer collaboration Dia de Muertos) so she'll likely come to live here if the price is right.
Mattel Creations is also offering re-releases of the popular My Scene line from the Y2K era and a chance to pre-order She-Ra if you missed her the first time.

Finally, starting on July 31st (though some places like Barnes & Noble have them now), Mattel Creations, along with Target, Walmart, and Amazon will be offering more Barbie The Movie tie-in dolls. In Barbieland, there will be Pink Jumpsuit Ken, Pink Beret Barbie (from when they actually leave Barbieland for the Real World), a doll in white that I can't identify and a new line of collector Kelly-sized dolls in already released fashions from the movie.
Oh, and if you did the "made to order" campfire Barbie & Ken set from the movie, rumor has it that will finally ship in late September or early October.
