Decor:
Competition room where I finished my final year as an apprentice judge and am now a fully certified Barbie Con competition judge. No real photos, jut a general overview:
The touring Barbie merchandise truck showed up on Thursday. It's sports themed this year. Not as exciting as in the past, imo, but I still bought, of course.
On Wednesday we had to choose what Mattel Club 59 presentation we wanted to attend on Saturday. The hallway was horribly hot and stuff. We were shown sneaks of a few things, including some upcoming Clueless dolls (they are now announced, the next "designer" Dia de los Muertos, a 12 Days of Halloween set featuring the purple-lipped head that's been making the rounds, the next Styled By doll and a few other things. Pretty dolls but no "wow" like in the past. The Mattel gift for the event was a random Looks doll - kind of awkward since they were designed by Bill Greening.
The souvenir room (Unique Boutique) had a cute set up:
So many great banners! Congratulations Bethany, that is great news.
