As to tariffs. Managed to get this out of a Michael's employee...1) they are installing fabric cutting counters,but she didn't know when they were getting fabric. 2) they just raised prices on 25,000 items. Seriously 25,000 items in the store...that is just about everything. From my recollection of prices on some items are in the 30% range raises.
3) the $-3$ items are gone from the front checkout area...so no more inexpensive basics.

Wow, talked a small sewing store yesterday, same kind of story.

My sister in Minneapolis told me they are already selling material there in MN. Hope they have a decent selection.
