I've been back to work since Tuesday (though that day I worked from home) but today is the first day I feel mostly normal.

I wanted to thank everyone for the cards, e-cards and well wishes. I really appreciate them. More than you guys probably know.

I'll be at my dad's this weekend for a moderate Easter celebration, including dinner. Two nights of peepers in the swamp, my mom's hyacinths blooming, and the sound of the creek running below the house is always relaxing to me.

Tonight? I work to replenish my iron supply with a steak, a lot of spinach and other dark greens!

Provided there are no other "unexpected circumstances" I'll see Margie (and any other ITP-ers who are there!) this coming weekend at the Queen City show. Plus, fingers crossed, I'll be at GAW next year! Pretty sure I got my application submitted in time.

It's now 10 weeks and counting (maybe less!) to the NBDCC in Louisville and I can't wait to hear the "Hi, Barbie!" cries again. Because there is something truly special about being in an airport over half-way across the country, hearing that and ending up with a new friend who is on this same crazy collecting journey that we are. bought "while at GAW" though a very good friend. Once those items arrive, including a Betty Pickett background screen among other things, I'll get them photographed and posted. Way more fashions - Paintbox Designs, Hankie Chic, the one I bought from Elise on the board, as well as a few others - than I have dolls for but then, just a reason to buy more nekkied dolls, right?

The banner photos will change both days this weekend, at least in part to make up for what I might not be able to do next weekend.

In the meantime, here are a few of my favorite spring girls. I am still kicking myself for not getting the 12 Days of Spring boxed set. She's still available so you never know.
