As far as I know, they replaced the whole doll. There should be a "replacement" sticker on the back

I thought they replaced the entire doll, not just the head.

Ask if the doll has the replacement head or the original one that came on the doll. msg

Mattel offered replacement heads for this doll. Some people took advantage of that offer to get their dolls heads replaced. The seller should be able to answer that question. If they don't know the answer to that question, I would stay away from the doll. A number of the Silkstone Barbie dolls had that problem. No matter how much I wanted one that I knew had an issue with their heads turning color, I just didn't buy the doll. It's really hard to watch your investment turn sour.
