A Barbie mail day......

I leave for convention in a little over a week, but some of my "pre-convention" purchases arrived today.

The convention merchandise is what was sold by Mattel Creations and the Mark Ryden bee was just too good of a price to pass up.

an actual game that we'll be playing (who stole the blueprints to the new Dreamhouse), a "mystery door" that opens with a few lucky keys (yes, you win a prize), and other surprises.

The entire theme is mid-century modern given the location and the fact that it's "set" in 1964.

I have become far more involved in this convention than I thought possible when it was first announced that, because of the virtual convention in 2021, Palm Desert would be bumped back to 2024. But I have to say that it's been fun! A lot of fun!
