A mama rabbit had her bunnies in my rose garden and I saw there were 6 bopping around. This morning saw that something had slaughtered them. Its just horrible!!

Slaughter is no way to deal with bunnies, wild animal?

YEs a racoon. 1 of the six musta got away.

Found a pregnant rabbit dead behind one of our bushes. I discovered her body her while I was mulching. She was either attacked by a feral cat or fox. Our ring would occasionally pick up either one of them emerging from the bush where I found her. I placed her body in a bag and buried her in my back yard under a tree that use to bury the deceased animals. I just recently discovered her unfinished nest, so very sad. God bless the beast and the children.

So that's good. Turns out it was a raccoon. Saw it on our trailcam. My hubby had to pick up the small pieces in my garden I couldn't have done it.

Things like that are so hard to take. I found a nest on the ground once and 4 dead baby birds scattered around. Some had wounds so it looked like a predator had knocked them down. It was very sad for me--and them.
