The last few years, I've done Bradley Justice Yarborough's Swell events. I skipped last year and was bummed when I found out I missed out on a gorgeous gown made from vintage Japanese brocade.

I found one for sale on eBay over the weekend and, since I start my new job on Monday, decided to treat myself. Last night, I received a message from the seller saying that it was "accidentally out of stock" (likely meaning they sold it elsewhere) and she wanted me to request a "buyers cancellation" where they would "happily refund" my money.

Admittedly, I lost my temper and said I wanted a better explanation. I also said I wasn't about to accept the blame on eBay for something I didn't do. They don't want to mess up their 100% perfect feedback. Well neither do I. I had a seller do this to me once before and I'm tired of it. If you cross post then remember to take your other auctions and/or sales down. Don't make the unwitting buyer take the blame.

And this dress is so rare? I have no idea where I'm going to find another.
