not theme: Look back at the Patisserie

I haven't been able to set up the GrandView again, but, I'm sure Sindy's Patisserie is still busy.

Sindy was still in Culinary School when she was working out of the HFIM house...

Sindy's Patisserie opened in 2020 in the Grand View Hotel, with Jamie as a baker.

Of course it was the beginning of the pandemic, and they were only open for orders, so Barbie helped out and just took her mask off for photos.

What can I help you with?

Jamie hauls fresh produce to the kitchen.

With so many businesses closed, the Patiserrie was lucky to already have an online presence for ordering. Customers picked up their bakery.

Great selection!

Beverages, icecream, and more.

Eventually they could serve beverages and bakery outside.

Like all business during the pandemic, it was a struggle.

Having a break after hours...making lists for tomorrow.

So realistic! The goodies made me hungry!
