The Twelve Days of Giving: A Teaser.....

Second, I am happy to say that all of the giveaway gifts have been assembled and photographed. Twenty-four giveaways in total, which is more than I had expected. Photos aren't so great in all cases, but you'll get the idea!

This Wednesday afternoon/evening, the album of givaways, along with an intro video will be posted so everyone can start thinking about what they'd like to try to put under their tree this year. I'd like to think that there's something for everyone. Remember, everyone, even our international members, are welcome to participate and other members can hold their own giveaways at the same time the Twelve Days event is going on.

The only change is the start date for the event. Because of my schedule (and the reality of shipping twenty-four prizes), the first two giveaways will be posted this Sunday, November 29th in the afternoon. Those drawings and every one that follows, will close the following day in the afternoon (not morning) when the next two are posted.

Oh, and one last thing....

Because I am an author by profession and because I can't ever leave well enough alone, I've given all twenty-four drawings unique names, which are posted below, just to heighten the anticipation. Some are easy to figure out and some probably aren't. That's half the fun!

So that's it for today. Enjoy our new logo and see if you can figure out what the drawings listed below might be for!

First, no - your eyes are not deceiving you. We have a logo! Yes, after all of these years, ITP has its own logo. It's 18Rabbit Software's holiday gift to the board. And, okay, that's one of my husband's companies, so if you ever see him at a Barbie event, you can thank him, at which point he will blush and mumble a "you're welcome."

Personally, I'm glad to see a bit of change and modernization to the board. Joanne created a fabulous board for us all to enjoy, and I'm sure she would want to see it modernize and grow. This board is an outlet that I need, particularly this year and at this time. I'd like to think that Joanne would approve of the changes we've made to bring the board more into the modern world. There have been some growing pains, but I think we're getting there. In the coming weeks, Margie and I will assess what else might need to be addressed. Though I think the photo uploader is a big one - just took time working with Boardhost to allow us to change decisions made over a decade ago.

Also, really glad you like the logo! It will, eventually, be added to the top of the page just under the banner. I am currently working on proper dimensions, etc. That might be delayed until Wednesday or after Thanksgiving. It depends on a few things, but that is the plan.
