I forgot to mention two more new dolls that were previewed at convention.

* Barbie Atelier doll #2 is due out either later int he fall or early next year. I passed on the first one and am a little disappointed that I did so. Got to see her in person in Austin. The second doll in the line will be an AA but I can't remember how she's dressed. Sorry about that!



* The next Tribute to Fashion will be coming as well. Inspired by Joan of Arc, this AA doll will have a similar feel to the Goddess series Athena. I don't remember much except a red and black color combo with an "armored" bodice and high boots. Unfortunately when you're playing security for Mattel, you miss some things during the presentation!



* This year's holiday Barbie (another red dress) is starting to appear at Target. At least in the stores that have been reset for early fall with the new Deluxe Style line and a few other things. Her earrings look like sprigs of holly so that's a new look.


* Ross Dress For Less reportedly has the Barbie Styled By Andrew Mukamal (the Superstar faced doll in a reimagined Day to Night fashion) for $12 and the Pink Collection Silkstone #4 (Maybe? It's the tan one in the pink poofy gown that was at Burlington in the fall) for $25. Not sure how wide-spread these dolls are but they are out there in some locations.

* For our ornament collectors, last weekend was the Hallmark Ornament Premier. I didn't go (that whole being in Austin thing) but I know not all stores received their full allotments of ornaments. Including mine. If you did pick up some ornaments, let us know how nice they are - or aren't if that's the case.


* Finally, if you're looking for the Superstar faced "Rare Find" Deluxe Style doll from Target, she is appearing on their website!

Though she's currently out of stock, she's been available off and on throughout today. I haven't seen her in stock, but others have so I know that it's a legitimate sighting.
