Hi everyone!
As you all know, there's a lot happening right now: the 4th of July, America's 250th birthday, and, yes, Barbie convention.
Once I leave for Austin on Sunday morning, my time will quite literally not be my own. My commitments this year are numerous, from the steering committee to my online clubs that have events to volunteering for this year (plus competition room judging) to prep for next year's convention as a member of the 27 chair team, my schedule is pretty full.
To that end, next week will have one singular theme - America's 250th birthday. Red, white and blue. As patriotic as you want to be. Actually, it will start on Saturday with the 4th of July. I'll only change the header photos once or twice while I'm gone.
It will also likely extend through Monday the 13th, as I don't return home by way of a long layover in O'Hare until late on Sunday the 12th.
For those of you wondering why I didn't start with the "America's Birthday" theme this week? That's why. It's not that I forgot or don't care or wasn't going to do anything. I was just holding off until I could let the theme run uninterrupted.
A selfish reason, I know, but the truth is, I won't be able to change the header photos much, if at all, next week.
I will post photos to the board as I'm able, most likely at the end of the day if I have a few minutes.
While I'm away, any other concerns should go to Margie instead of the both of us as a lot of people do. I'm not certain when I would see the message and she can respond a lot quicker than I can.
Questions? Please post them below!
