I was recently able to locate and buy the Swell World centerpiece from last year's min-con from Bradley Justice title "It's a Swell World!"
This centerpiece is built around the 1964 World's Fair and the Sinclair gas dinosaurs. The Skipper featured in the display is one of the Japanese Malibu Skippers he was able to locate several years ago. Her dress says "Bradley" in the print rather than "Barbie." Her hair is tied back because it was uncut - a true untouched piece of Barbie in Japan history.
Cute as it is, they were done so quickly that the bases were never sealed, leaving them all sticky and transferring green paint everywhere. My dad and I sealed this one to preserve it and bring back the "Sinclair green" to the base, the way it was supposed to be.
