Several weeks ago while scrolling Facebook one Saturday night, I saw an ad for a very green eared ponytail Barbie. Despite everything, she was lovely and came with a case and clothes. Located about an hour north of my dad's house (in the northern tier of the state where there are more deer - and probably Bigfoots - than people) I decided to take a chance and ask about availability since the listing was rather old.

To my surprise, the PT (a #6) was still available. I made arrangements to meet the woman in the town of Ridgway the following Sunday morning.

What I couldn't have known is that Sunday morning meeting would lead to more dolls, more clothes and, the purchase I made this morning.

My dad, brother and I drove back to Ridgway this morning to meet my new friend, Paula, who sold me this lovely brunette bubble, case with clothes AND this nearly complete Barbie Goes to College set for an incredible deal.

I bought the dolls but I also found a new friend and got to explore a part of my state that I rarely see.
