Her chart success here was limited to two songs - Locomotion (and during a US interview she hurt her fledgling popularity by essentially dismissing Little Eva and Grand Funk Railroad who both took the song to #1 as well as the song's American songwriters ) and "I Should Be So Lucky" which only charted on the US dance charts.
Elsewhere she was far more popular so my guess is Mattel is going for a world market with this one - which isn't unusual given some of the other dolls they've done recently like Maria Felix.

Does that mean we need a Tiffany doll (I think we're alone now) or a Stacey Q doll (Two of Hearts). Some other dolls make me scratch my head, like Inspiring women "1st Hispanic woman in space" And that Space Cowboy Barbie, such strange design choicea, in my opinion
