My contribution to the Pixie Dusters (one of my clubs) prize room donation:
Fashion show themed nails:
Luggage, travel doll (she never went anywhere), and the packed car.
The hotel was very accommodating, including having a George Michael impersonator concert for us on Sunday night. Yes, I did get my groove on!
My hotel room was actually pretty spacious:
They also had special food and drink menus for us, as well as played the Barbie movie frequently - probably to the annoyance of the other guests.
Even the UPS store got into the act:
The downside? The hotel was just a smidgen too small for the convention and our needs. Most of the staff didn't speak English. Some not at all. Communication was nearly impossible. The West Tower was hot and had slow elevators. The East tower hallways were far away from the rooms and oppressive with heat. The Friday night food? Made most of us sick.
