Happy Grant A Wish weekend, everyone!

For our members, like Margie (and probably a few others) who are traveling to GAW this weekend, be safe! I was supposed to attend this year (even made it off the waitlist) but surgery before dawn this coming Monday prevented me from going. I love the theme - Meet Me in the Mitten! - and a tie-in to "Somewhere In Time" is fabulous!

I do have several friends there, including one who is already shopping for me (Barbie-sized marshmallow Peeps, anyone?) and I'll pass on any information I get.

Right now, I know that Mattel is in a major upheaval, but we do know that, for the moment, anyway, Mattel is still supporting GAW and the NBDCC in Louisville. Any rumors you hear to the contrary and unfounded - and my sources for this are excellent.

So if you're going, enjoy! And if, like me, you're staying home, then enjoy the photos online.

And if you're going to the Queen City show in Cincinnati on April 26th? I'll see you there!
