Hi, my name is Fran and I only have a couple of Barbie dolls that I rescued from the dump but I have a desire to keep them nice and safe.
Sadly, I just had a little “accident” with my Barbie Extra #1, (It doesn't seem that serious but I wanted to be sure) my niece
took her without i realizing it and shot her hair with a can of compressed air to clean PC's.
The doll no longer had her hair completely combed as it was originally, (The shot was in an upward direction) but immediately a small gap formed in the hair, which I think I can rearrange, (Not a single hair fell out and I can't see the plastic on her head).
The problem here is that I have no idea how to treat Afro hair on a doll and I have not found care or maintenance advice for this type of doll hair ANYWHERE .
Can anyone tell me if this problem is really serious or not? And if possible some tips for future care for Afro hair.
Her hair is beautiful and was one of the reasons I wanted to rescue her.
