About two years ago, I was asked to design jewelry making class for a mid-century modern themed convention. Other than the logo, I had nothing to work from and it was "highly encouraged" that my class be different than the ones that came before.
So I put some thought into it and made it different. My goal was to not just make something "in class" but to give people skills to take with them when the class was done.
At the time I designed this, I had no way of knowing how close my design was to what would be the pattern on the official convention doll.
