This beautiful vintage Bubble Cut Barbie was given to me by a former co-worker. The doll belonged to his spouse's mother, and they asked me if I wanted the doll when they placed her in a nursing home. When he brought the doll in, I was overwhelmed with their generosity, and I even offered to pay for the doll. They refused to take the money and I have treasured not only this fine vintage doll, she is mint, but their act of kindness and thoughtfulness. We both retired together last year on 7/28/24, I however went back on a part-time basis since I was asked to stay on with one of the companies.
I owned this exact original doll when I was a young girl along with other vintage Barbies. One day when I came home from school my doll cases, dolls, and clothes were gone. My mother gave them away as what was done years ago. Clothing and toys were passed on to others. So today I am still in search of two of my grail dolls-Color Magic, and Vintage Swirl, I owned both of those when I was growing-up along with many others. The treasure hunt continues.
Have a good evening everyone.
