My best friend lives in a suburb of Chicago. The other day, she took the phone outside while we were talking so I could hear the cicadas. She has a billion at her house, but none at her sister's house about a mile away. Crazy! Anyway, I made this photo a few years ago when we had them in Cincinnati. I'm glad they only come out every 17 years.
