Dear In the Pink friends,
I consider that neither Margie nor Bethany are trying to erase Joanne's legacy. Times change. That said, I would like to keep the days as Joanne had them but modifying and adding to them.
For example:
1. Blue Monday could be Blue Monday with Friends and Family (all lines including Kelly and Krissy)
2. Silkstone Tuesday ... Silkstone and Vintage (50-70s) and Repros Tuesday ...don't worry, the 80s will have its own!
3.W ednesday Friends and Family could be something like Dioramas and Scenes (to share dioramas, digital scenes with dolls, tutorials/How to/DIY/Sewing/tips/OOAK, Barbie and non Barbie houses being used by Barbie, vehicles, etc.)
4. Vintage Thursday ...perhaps could be the day for Non Barbie lines : Monster High, My Scene, Enchantimals, Cave Club, Diva Starz, Creatable World, and more.
5. Pink Friday ... I would keep it. To me that is Joanne's and the heart of In The Pink. All lines wearing pink or "living" in Pink.
6. Saturday ... what about " Gowns and Crowns " or something like that? All gorgeous outfits will have a special day.
7. Sunday ..." Rocking the Colorful 80s " - everything 80s for this day, including the 80s repros.
Again, this is just to help brainstorming changes while keeping Joanne's memory as ITP Foundation.
As a side note, I would like to see a short note, crediting Joanne as the creator of this group. Maybe Margie remembers the year she started it.
