As far as buying, do your homework first, so you know where prices are. If you are mostly into vintage, a good book will help. Unfortunately the best fashion books are out of print and pricey themselves, but still not a bad investment, as if you are the kind to hunt in thrift stores and antique malls, there are bargains to be had if you can recognize the pieces of the fashions. I have had a lot of luck recently getting things even at a good enough price to resell, at local online estate auctions. Check out Auctionninja.com and estatesales.org for ones in your area. As always Ebay and Etsy are worth the time.
Best of luck and welcome!
