I don't have cabinets to display dolls, as I use them in different settings and doll stories. My characters had gotten out of hand, so I inventoried all my dolls.
How about this Extra doll that appeared in a thrift store totally trashed....she's gorgeous now---hair redone and 'controlled'? But where do I put ALL these dolls.
I had a guy shelf and a gal shelf---but this is what it looked like MOST of the time.
I have been using an some identification pages (mostly so I remember their names), but never kept track of exactly where they were --on the shelf, in a green tote, or the gray one or buried in that clothes box. I was spending too much time ....LOOking.
I had some 14 magazine boxes from donating magazines upstairs...just about the right size, so I tried it.
Cataloged, with bags on their heads for hair, each was assigned a box.
I'm trying this, you can just tip the box down, without pulling it out...and select the doll.
And Yara is another box with all those with "HAIR" issues...safe and sound.
I have decided to keep my favorites in their homes/or workplace, but that's another post!
Lots more photos and organizational ideas, here on my ad-free blog!
