Vickie's Vintage has suffered a slew of strange happenings, peculiar sounds, power and electrical issues. Russel Pittman, the BMR Ltd. contractor, inspects the building to address all the complaints.
Lara: Vickie said the power was out for almost 2 days? Well Russ, what do you see?
On the main floor they check out more cameras, wiring, the computer systems, and more interesting things happen...
Later
In the Dungeon (Downstairs---the Halloween Shop is several days behind).
EL: Oh, it's you, the fixit guy. Hi,---I'm EL. Do I have a list for you. And, we lost complete power down here for two days, for NO reason.
Russell: Well, shoot that is what I'm here for, EL. So what else is up? (Looking around at the almost bare room).
EL: The worst is I swear I hear saxophone music when the sound system is off. Kinda a low wailing type and sometimes really fast it sounds like bugs on a screen, but so soft you can hardly hear it.
Russell: Jazz or Blues bugs? (chuckle) My Grandpa said this building use to be a Speakeasy called the Bijou in the 20's.
Meanwhile...(Russell checks out all the electrical connections at the service desk.)
Russell: I can't find anything else here, I'm going to check the freight elevator and the furnace room. These old buildings have lots of sounds to them. Pipes, heat runs, air vents...I'll be back.
More story and much later...
Lara: (Darn him....he's watching me walk away....I can feel it--blushing...)
Trish: Well, did you see what I just saw?
Vanessa: She's my boss, I can't talk about...ahhh-hmmm....(giggle)....seeing that!
