I do hope to come to Spain someday for the convention. Maybe in 2 years or so. I'm hoping to go to the Italian convention someday, too. If I come to Spain, I'll definitely let you know! It would be awesome to meet you!
Of course I'll take photos of the doll designed by David Bocci. Unfortunately I'm not getting that doll, since I applied too late and it's a limited edition of only 121 dolls. However, I'll get the official Matted doll donated for the Spanish convention. She will be my very first convention doll!
I finally decided attending this year since it's the 10th edition and my 20th anniversary as a Barbie collector
Whenever you visit Spain, please let me KNOW! Maybe you can attend someday!
Thank you for the suggestions about the table gifts.
Big hugs from Spain
post photos of the dolls and gifts you get, especially the doll by David Bocci? He is one of my absolute favorite Barbie designers/OOAK artists!
As for gift ideas, it depends how much you want to spend, but popular gifts are Barbie miniatures (like food, drinks or housewares), Barbie fashions, or Barbie-themed human-size items that every conventioneer can use, like notebooks, water bottles, etc.)
Dear ITPinkers,
this year, for the very first time, I'll be attending the Spanish Barbie convention, which will be held in Madrid on 7-9 October 2022. My table is called "London". I have 9 table pals.
I've never been in any doll convention, but I know there are a lot of convention experts here So, if you could suggest some ideas, I'll be more than grateful to you!
My childhood friend Juani visited me a few days ago. She lives in Italy but every time she's back, she texts me. She was very surprised when she saw my collection, and took lots of pics. Love this one with 1992 Baton Skipper
Big hugs everyone!
