For a couple days I'd been hearing a scratching noise in the downspout joint.
I figured it to be a rat or mouse trying to build a nest. It had to go! I disassembled
my drainage system and ran a drain snake down from the top and hit a snag. I ran the
snake up from the bottom only to hit a snag again, then I heard something slide down
the spout to the bottom elbow. I was surprised to see that shell edge. I pulled the
critter out.
