This is mostly for those who don’t already know how to assemble the ITP shopping bag included in your prize pack.
You have received either the small, medium, or “big” (a.k.a. large) shopping bag in your mailing.
The bags have already been pre-scored along the fold lines.
The tops have also been glued into place and holes punched for the handles.
To finish assembling the bag, using either a glue stick (preferred), white glue or tape, first glue/tape close the open side of the bag. You may need to allow this to dry for a few minutes.
When the sides are secure, fold up the bottom of the bag and glue/tape closed, making sure the smaller side tabs are secured beneath both of the longer ones to ensure the bag retains its shape. Allow to dry.
Please note, do not use too much glue, particularly white glue. The bags were printed on a home printer and the logo will smear if too much glue is used or comes in contact with the logo design.
When the bag is dry, put a knot in one end of the ribbon provided. If it slips through the hole (which it likely will) double knot it. Slide the unknotted end through the other hole on the same side of the bag to form a handle. Once you decide how long you want the handle to be, make another knot or two and trim the ends.
Repeat the process with the other side, making sure to keep the handles as even as possible.
If you don’t like the ribbon provided, any ribbon or string will work just as well.
Stuff with folded bits of tissue paper and there you have it – your own In The Pink logo shopping bag!
Please note that if you would like more bags (including a complete set of three) please contact me after the Twelve Days of Giving ends and I will make arrangements with you to get you more bags. However this will likely not be done until after the holidays.
Thanks, everyone, and enjoy!
