trying again with the photos! Previous Message
Hi, hope you don't mind me posting a question when I'm not a regular contributer to the board (but I docome and read all the posts every day).
I've been collecting Barbie since the 1980's but only really started getting into vintage and Mod dolls a couple of years ago. I'm trying to build up a nice little collection with a couple of examples of each of the different dolls that were produced. I'm slowly learning what to look for (from reference books and here on PP) but I wondered if someone who was more of an expert on the subject could help.
I've recently been offered the chance to buy a doll that's a bit of a mystery to me. The doll was apparently sold in (and I've no reason to doubt their word) an American Girl box but the doll actually has a standard TNT head on an AG body. Also the head seems to be chubbier than the regular dolls I own and she doesn't have any eyelashes (no holes).
Just wondered if anyone has come accross a doll like this before?
now going to try and attach a photo (my first on any doll board!)
