In The Pink

That's so moving... "She wanted everyone to be included". Totally agree! :)
My mom lurked on the board back then while I posted. She tagged along with me to the ITP gathering and was astounded when Joanne's "guidelines" for the gift was that everyone got something. Even my mom, who was only a lurker. But that was Joanne. She wanted everyone to be included.
Most vivid memory was at the ITP gathering in Ft Lauderdale, when Joanne presented round after round of gifts to attendees. We all knew her for her generosity, but this event blew my mind!! She must have driven up with a semi trailer, because the prizes just kept on coming; and the smiles in the crowd just kept getting bigger with each surprise.
I was also most impressed with Joanne's husband, who shared stories with my husband while we ITPers were partying in our group.
Here's my pink toast to our leader and inspiration. The doll and dress were one of my most prized gifts from that meeting, and I'll treasure her forever.
Miss you, Joanne.
