In The Pink

My dolls are always on display, deboxed. If I knew how to post pics here, I'd show you.
Right now, I'm in the middle of some major changes to my house and for that reason, a lot of my dolls are packed away rather than on disaply. Ok, almost all of them because of the dust and dirt that comes with renovating an old (meaning 1860s-era) home. Even when I do have them on display, though, it's only a few at a time. Eventually, that will change but for the moment, I have more in storage than I do out.
So how do you display your dolls? Do you rotate them? Are they out all the time? Never out? In a diorama? How do you store the ones that aren't on display or do you? I'm really curious as I am currently in a different phase of caring for my collection, one that I hope will be short-lived.
For a peek into what I've done, I've temporarily stacked at lot of my dolls in what we call "The Cabana." It's actually the old pool house (with heat, central air, etc) left over from when the house was part of a larger estate and had a pool, tennis courts, etc. It was also last redone in the 60s, hence the mod yellow color on the walls.
I realize this isn't the best way but it's either this or, well, I won't even say what we're finding in the walls as in the 1860s, construction materials were pretty much whatever was on-hand. So until the walls are re-sealed in a few weeks? This will have to do.
